Brigette Parzych:

Painting is a delight, a meditation, and a practice in present moment awareness. My work is a play between the seen and the unseen and the evolution between memory and imagination.   I paint using a variety of mediums.  Mostly watercolor, pen and acrylic on paper, canvas, board or metal. I also like to make creations using recycled materials.  I respond to the varied forms, textures, and colors I see in nature. I love bright vivid colors and attempt to bring an uplifting and playful beauty out of the materials.  My creations tend to evolve before any reference material is used.  I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I find much inspiration from the southwest colors, flora and cultural art.  I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Utah and continue to develop my passion for art and creative style. Brigette lives in Salt Lake City with her husband Kevin, and her two children Andy and
